South Hill Designs Training Programs

I love this quote by Lewis Carroll. It’s a reminder to stay focused on where we’re headed in business. Success in direct sales comes from having a plan and working that plan. This week several of my team members have started our new mentoring program called “Rookies to Rockstars.” They are creating a plan and a road map for their business. I’m so proud of them, and so blessed that they are allowing me to be their coach and work with them. Today I wanted to share a few highlights of things that are important in creating that plan.

Have a Road Map

When we travel, if we aren’t clear about where we want to end up, it can be a long, tiring journey. The journey becomes fun and exciting when we know where we are headed and can create a map to get there! Our business is a lot like that. What’s your end result? For some, that means a little extra money to spend every month. Maybe it means being able to take the family on that awesome vacation that you’ve been dreaming about. And for some, it means being one of the six-figure income earners in the company. Whatever that end result it, the road map starts the journey!

Come From a Place of Service

My greatest reward in having this opportunity is being able to be of service to others. When someone creates a special piece of jewelry for themselves that expresses some of the stories in their life, my reward is in seeing that look on their face as it comes together. When a team member reaches that next promotion that is going to help them in their family, it’s rewarding beyond belief. Through my business, I am able to help others; and it is that service that drives me. One of my mentors in this business often says “Service is the highest activity to which we can aspire.” That’s so true in this business, and it is perhaps the thing I love the most.

Make it Fun!

We’ve all been to those “parties” that were, well, frankly boring. When I started with South Hill Designs, I wanted to be sure I never did one of those parties. I want things to be fun. I love theme parties that my hostesses choose because they are so much fun. It’s about creating an experience. Imagine what you could do with a Taste of Italy party. This month I’m doing a party where there’s an “Ugly Flip Flop Contest.” I can’t wait to see what those guests come up with! Use your imagine and there’s no limit to the fun you can create!

Celebrate the steps along the way!

It’s important to celebrate along the way. Don’t wait until you hit that final goal before you recognize all of the small steps along the way that got you there. Learn to recognize the small victories in life. It’s a combination of those small victories that lead you to the end result.

Always Grateful

I am a believer in living in a state of gratitude. It matters and focusing on that mind set changes how we view the world. I am grateful for so many things in life. When you stop and really think about all of the things you have to be grateful for, it’s pretty hard to get hung up on anything negative. I also believe that “like attracts like.” What we send out to the universe comes back to us. I have seen that manifested in my own life so much. So, because of that, I’m grateful that I have the opportunity to share this business with others. I am a mentor who loves helping others develop their business. I’m very grateful that I have a business that allows me the flexibility to do other things in my life and also lets me contribute to my family and the things we want to do in life. Life is indeed blessed!

Perhaps you’re seeking that just right opportunity for your own life. I invite you to join our team on this amazing journey.
